Acceptable Use & Moderation

CrayonBloom makes coloring books for families. We built it to be family-safe and adult-operated, and we screen the prompts that go in so it stays that way.
What you can make
Wholesome, kid-appropriate coloring pages: animals, nature, vehicles, fantasy and fairy-tale themes, holidays, hobbies, gentle adventures, and the everyday moments of family life.
What's not allowed
You may not use CrayonBloom to request or create:
- Sexual or suggestive content, nudity, or anything that sexualizes minors.
- Graphic violence, gore, weapons used to harm, or content that glorifies cruelty.
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content.
- Content promoting self-harm, dangerous activities, or illegal acts.
- Real, identifiable people's likenesses, or third-party trademarked or copyrighted characters.
By using CrayonBloom you agree not to request these. We may block and remove any prompt or page that does, and we act on reports — but you are responsible for the ideas you submit.
How we screen prompts
Every prompt passes through automated moderation before art is generated: a keyword/category guard plus a machine-learning safety check (OpenAI's moderation model) on the normalized prompt. Requests that trip these checks are blocked, logged as a moderation case for review, and may lead to account suspension for repeated or deliberate abuse.
This automated screening targets unsafe categories like violence, adult, and hateful content; it is not an exhaustive check for trademarks or real people's likenesses, and no automated system catches everything. We rely on these rules plus your agreement above and our notice-and-takedown process: if you see a page that shouldn't exist, report it and we'll remove it.
For parents
Accounts are held by adults, and an adult is responsible for everything created under an account. We recommend an adult drive the idea entry, then hand the finished pages to a child to color.
